Governance as a Mountain

Governance is the technique, where norms and actions are structured, sustained, regulated and held accountable. The stage of formality depends on the internal rules of a given social entity and, externally, with its business term. This therefore calls for a solid foundation to sustain it.

The Impact of Governance
The Mountain of Governance or Government is one that impacts all the other mountains. The nation is already doomed if God and his followers are taken out of the governing of a nation. This is evidently seen in the scripture looking at the Judges and Kings that led God’s people. It is therefore important that the believers in governance raise the banner of Christ high and uphold righteousness.

Enemy of Governance
The enemy of governance are the Girgashites, with a strong believe in corruption. They have a strong alliance with the Hittites who are the enemies of the Media Mountain. Their alliance allows them to work effectively and therefore manipulate the people.

Principality of Governance and its solution
The principality of this mountain is pride and manipulation. Manipulation is experienced in the corruption that is clearly seen in most areas of this media.

This principality can be displaced by:

• Prayer

1 Timothy 2:1-2
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (NIV)

• The need to practice humility.

Proverbs 11:2
“When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

• Honesty, integrity, be ready to serve and be exemplary.

Proverbs 11:3
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.

Proverbs 14:25
A truthful witness saves lives, but a false witness is a traitor.

It is important to prepare ourselves for example like Nehemiah when he was rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem. He ignored rumours, working wisely and completed the work that was before him.

Our focus should be on what glorifies God, do not focus on what can be seen with our earthly eyes, we shall miss God’s voice. We shouldn’t focus on our personal agendas too because these divert us from the will of God.

The view in Uganda
In Uganda, this is clearly seen with the prevalence of corruption in the different areas of the economy, threats from donors like we have recently witnessed the threats that followed the anti-homosexual bill after the parliament sent it for signing. These are real issues that need to be dealt with.

When Lucifer is firmly rooted in a nation, that nation will manifest the following Antichrist distinctive:

1. Working to destroy Israel
2. Working to destroy the next generation (abortion, wars, and plagues)
3. Working to destroy Christians
4. Working to suppress women or release Jezebels
5. Working to pervert sexual morals (homosexuality, adultery, etc.)

In Africa, there are a number of observations that include:

• Corruption which is evident in the region of East Africa.
• Unending wars in some parts of Africa like Sudan, Congo to mention but a few.
• Persecution of Christians in some African Nations—Christians in Mali, Niger, Nigeria, and Burkina Faso, to name just a few, live practically in ghettos, and practice their faith underground.

The Global outlook is not different, there are observations that include:

• Corruption which is also evident in various countries
• Working to destroy God’s first born /Nation Israel (Antisemitism)
• Destruction of the next generation (abortion, wars, plagues)—Legalizing some of these wrong things
• Persecution of Christians in some countries
• Suppression of women especially in Islamic based nations/cultures
• Perversion of sexual mores (homosexuality, adultery, etc)

The Change we Hope For
Nehemiah accomplished the building of the walls of Jerusalem when he aligned himself with the will and plan of God. Nehemiah and his followers did what seemed to be the impossible, but because they did what God called them to do, they were able to accomplish it. God has called each one of us to a particular work. May we hind the instructions he gives us so as to accomplish his purposes.

Conclusion
